Entertaining Effort
Erist of the Dead 1 and 2 end up being a lot of fun. Both are the creation of young filmmakers in France. The acting was fairly good. I liked the idea of bad vodka creating the zombie apocalypse as that is something different than you standard chemicals or virus. They were both a lot of fun to watch. The make-up tended to be basic, but it still worked. The story was fun. It's too bad only the first one had subtitles. I give Erist of the Dead 1 and 2 a rating of 6 out of 10.
