Story:
Four survivors of the zombie apocalypse are struggling to survive in a world that has turned hideous. They may not go to the mall, but there's plenty of danger out there among the zombies. They try to get supplies, but it's not easy. But there are also demonic forces at work. Will any of them survive?

An Evil Dawn

Dusk of the Dead combines elements from Dawn of the Dead with the Evil Dead for a combination that is actually quite fun. It's made on a very low budget. The acting is fairly good. It was filmed in a grainy style, making it look like the old grindhouse films. The make-up is basic, but the blood and gore works pretty well. This was an attempt to start a series, but it didn't come to pass. And even the short film cannot be seen here in the USA anymore due to a copyright claim. I'm glad I got to see it before the film was removed. I give Dusk of the Dead a rating of 6 out of 10.
