Story:
A mad scientist, some gangsters, and a sinister corporation combine to produce HAZE, the most addictive drug ever. It turns people into mind-controlled zombies. Unfortunately, it's also made from toxic waste. Some British detectives go undercover to try to bring an end to it. Will they be able to stop a potential zombie outbreak on time? What will happen to the horde of toxic zombies is set loose?

Cleverly Constructed Film

Give the creators of Toxic Apocalypse credit. Rather than just doing a slavish imitation or standard zombie outbreak film, Toxic Apocalypse focuses on the plan as it develops by the evil corporation and save the outbreak for an action-packed conclusion. In lesser hands, this might spell boredom, but the Hamill Brothers manage to make this work very well. Good acting combines with a strong story and funny dialogue to make a very entertaining ride. It doesn't go for obvious slapstick, rather for a drier type of humor. The chief mad scientist is truly hilarious. Things pick up very nicely at the end, with plenty of blood and gore. Toxic Apocalypse is a hilarious movie that is immensely entertaining on every level. I give Toxic Apocalypse a rating of 7 out of 10.
