Story:
Derek and Cliff are touring Europe, planning to continue their voyage tell they have been around the world. But Derek changes one night in Paris after spending time with a beautiful woman. He feels the need to drink blood and eat flesh. If he doesn't do so, he discovers that his skin will rot. If he waits too long he will become mindless, and start to spread this infection. Can he stop himself from becoming a zombie-vampire? Is there a cure for his condition? What changes will take place in him?

A Great Movie That Doesn't Afflict It's Audience At All

Afflicted ends up being a damn good movie on every level. It was a very pleasant surprise. I hadn't expected it to be this good. They do an excellent job combining elements of vampirism with zombies. Derek is a very appealing character that viewers can like and root for. The make-up was great. The found footage works here as well. Derek Lee and Cliff Prowse wear many hats here, and they all work well, which isn't necessarily always the case. Afflicted is an excellent movie on every level. Afflicted earns a rating of 9 out of 10.
