Story:
Frankenstein's Monster, now known as Adam, killed his creator many years ago. In the present, he is attacked by a demon, but is saved by a gargoyle who turn out to be angels. Adam gets frozen for 200 years, waking up to a much different world. There is a war rampaging as demons are getting ready to invade and dominate the earth. They have Dr. Frankenstein's journal and plan to create army of demonic zombies. Can Adam Frankenstein stop them? Some corpses do indeed briefly reanimate in the film.

A Plot of Confustion

I. Frankenstein isn't as many reviews said it was, but it's not really great either. In many ways, it symbolizes so much of what can go wrong with the Studio system. So much is devoted to effects and gore and action that they don't pay enough attention to story and characters. There's a lot switching between the Gargoyle Realm and the present, without really distinguishing between them for viewers. The movie feels really disjointed. Aaron Eckhart desperately needed better dialogue. The action wasn't bad. The make-up was fairly good. It was still much too reliant on CGI. I give I, Frankentstein a rating of 5 out of 10.
