Story:
Centuries ago, the Norse God, Loki, unleashes four demons on the world in the form of musical instruments. Odin summons the Dark Viking to prevent them from being reunited. He is made immortal. In the present, the Instruments of Evil manifest themselves again. A sinister tune played over radio raises a heavy metal band from the dead as zombies. Can the living dead be stopped by some cynical cops? A couple is captured by a serial killer with a violin streak. Is this killer dangerous as we see n Gratuitous Violins. Will the Dark Viking stop the powers of darkness? What other threats will appear?

A Wonderful Tribute To B-Grade Movies

With Instruments of Evil, Huw Evans succeeds marvelously well in creating an insane tribute to the b-grade movies of the 1970s and 1980s. And the film is actually really good. The writing in all parts of Instruments of Evil is very good. I loved the puns with Gratuitous Violins. That was very clever. The parody of the killer was really very well done. The Viking was pretty hilarious as well. Al the segments worked well. I give Instruments Of Evil a rating of 8 out of 10.
