B movies don't get much better than this

This is of course not any kind of a zombie movie, but for an independently produced B movie from the early 1980:s it's actually quite good in a off-beat kind of a way. It's an action adventure but the main thing is really the story, not the tiresome action sequences. Sure, the production is cheap and it's probably made on a very low budget. But Steve Barkett is still managing to deliver all the special effects needed for a SF epic, including a post-nuclear Los Angeles! It really shows that the moviemaker (who also is the star of the movie) poured his heart out on this one, because it has just that heart. The movie was supposedly re-made as Def -Con 4.

So Bad, It's Good

I have to admit that I have a soft spot in my heart for movies by Ted V. Mikels. The films are, in most ways, horrible beyond belief. And this one is no exception. It's very cheap in all ways--acting, story, special effects, etc, etc. But it's a lot of fun too. Just sit back and watch the unintentional comedy unfold.
