A Crazy Movie
Here's another entry that we'll call part of the successful movie effect. This film involves a number of indivduals who went on to major success in Ong Bak. So the old material is dragged out. In this case, it was dragged out by Mill Creek Entertainment. I don't think the Spirited Killer films are actually connected to one another, but they make it seem that way any how. Admittedly, this film falls into the category of being so bad, it's good. The plot is still bizarre beyond belief, even with subtitles. It's their ususal comedy/action/horror with sped up chases, although it's more action and martial arts than normal. The fights were well staged, although hardly spectacular. I did love the woman doing a striptease that reveals a t-shirt that translated says "censored" in Thai. I give this film 6 out of 10.
