What A Train Wreck

Only rarely does one come across a train wreck on this level. This Hindi movie is a disaster in every way. There is virtually nothing good about it. It's one of the worst movies, ever, or one of the most hilarious. I suspect my plot description is a lot more coherent than the actual plot here. I can say that the actresses are very good looking, which is miles ahead of some other low-brow Hindi movies. Otherwise, this movie is a complete and total mess. The "costumes" are hilarious in every aspect. The vampires wear horribly fake teeth. Many of the monsters wear cheap-ass rubber masks that hang loosely over their head. The skeletons are some bones painted on black clothes. The werewolf is a cheap mask and very loose fitting black fur (in one scene, he almost loses his mask after gyrating on top of a helpless woman. There are no dance numbers here. The songs come from a radio and were probably stolen from some other movie. The "acting" consists of a lot of walking around, posing for the camera, and "running" away. The direction amounts to "point the camera thataway." This is miserably bad on a level only shared by Khooni Dracula or Haveli Ke Peeche. In other words, I Loved it. What is a 0 star crapfest for most, is a 4 star laugh-fest for me. I was roaring with laughter with this one. It's a new cult classic that I will appreciate for many years to come. I give the movie 6 out of 10 for being so memorably awful.
