Story:
A young woman girl loses her sight in a horrible accident. Years later, she gets her vision back via an eye transplant. A side effect of her transplant is that she can now see ghosts and the dead. She uses her newfound talent to try to save people. In one scene, she's in a morgue and sees a corpse rise from one of the tables.

A Great Movie

This film truly impressed me. It's an Indian remake/knock-off of the Pang Brothers Asian horror film, The Eye. I didn't really expect a whole lot from it, given that Indian films usually end up being pretty bad--especially horror ones. This one is very surprising. The visuals are excellent and the characters are compelling and sympathetic enough that you really start to care for them. It's a very powerful film. The creators very smartly didn't include any singing and dancing, which would have just disrupted the entire flow of the movie. I will be looking forward to watching this one with subtitles. I give Naina 9 out of 10.
