A number of people try to flee to isolated areas. A man and a woman, Lance and Rachel, encounter each other as they journey through a forest and become allies. Lance is a vengeful quest to kill each and every zombie. Adding to the mystery are the presence of some mysterious black figures who are not actual zombies, but seem to be connected to them. It does help that Lance is damn good with a samurai sword. And he gets plenty of chances to use it. But can he and Rachel survive? And can they even find love with each other?

A Great Movie

The Sky Has Fallen is a surprisingly good movie, considering I usually don't expect a whole lot from indepedent films. The acting was fairly strong as was the direction. I was very impressed with the pacing. It did move slowly at times, such as when the characters were talking. But, not only was the writing and acting strong enough to get away with that, but it also made the actiong and fighting scenes more effective. I was also very impressed with the make-up. The zombies were extremely gruesome and just caked with blood and gore. It was really some of the best make-up I've seen in an independent movie. The black figures looked impressive as well. The bloodwork was great in here. The swordwork was good in here as was the camerawork that hid the fact that the sword wasn't entering the chest of the zombies, but it still looked convincing. This was very good stuff. And the story was excellent and it even had a powerful ending. I give this episode 8 out of 10.
