A while back, I remember there was talk of a new Blind Dead movie, and I even remember seeing a trailer for it, that had them rising from being buried in graves. Was it ever made? I seem to recall a problem with the ownership of The Blind Dead as well concerning this project.
Did it possibly become a fan made film? Or is it D.O.A?

I searched for "blind dead 5."
This looks like the trailer you're talking about..
This is the first I've heard of such a thing, so, as for the rest of your questions, you got me!
Hmm. Found this thread

and it says
Searching for that, I came across

in which the director, Vick Campbell, says
So it does seem to be completed. All the search results seem to be from 2007. So that's not the best of signs.
Searching for Vick Campbell, the first result was his IMDb page, and he apparently wrote and directed El Retorno de los Templarios, which Google translates into THE RETURN OF THE TEMPLARS. It also stars Anarka de Ossorio... (relation? I dunno)

That does seem to be the IMDb page for the film.
Searching for her, I came across this
http://www.fusionator.jazztel.es/El%20monte%20de%20las%20animas.htm
which has another title, Graveyard of the Dead. So Graveyard of the Dead, Graveyard of the Blind Dead, El Monte de las Animas, and The Return of the Templars are all the same film. That's the production company's website but I can't find a place to actually buy DVDs on it.
SO. Good luck... I'll update if I find anything else :-)
I did an image search, and found
Covers:
Apparently it's a double-sided cover, with each of those images on a side, so you can put the nude girl on the outside or inside, depending on if your mom is coming over that night or not. I learned that here, where it also says it's in Spanish with English subtitles:

It says it's fromSinerama Films. There's also a quote on that page, saying
There are a few reviews to be found, so the DVD actually was available at one point.
A review (he did NOT like it):

Well. DUH. I just thought to search ZMDB for it, and of course it's listed:

I FOUND IT TO BUY.
